Avoid Late Fees
After the third hefty late payment fee to my credit card card company, a representative told me not to believe the payment times listed by my online banking service. “They just send us all the payments together once a week,” she revealed after removing the late fee from my account. Right then and there I decided to quit trying to time my payments (and risk more late fees) by adding funds to my checking account. Now I’m “ahead” of the bills, and I can pay them as soon as they arrive.
