Save Money on Summer Vacations
It’s summertime and you may be thinking of how you can get a break from your daily routine and go on vacation. With the cost of gas, it may seem impossible to travel.
One way you can still have a vacation, but not spend a fortune, is to vacation close to home. A vacation is about relaxing and having an enjoyable time alone or with your family.
You could even rough it and go camping. Surrounding yourself in nature is one of the best ways to replenish. Enjoying good conversation around a fire and having some S’mores and other good food would be great fun.
You might be able to find a Bed and Breakfast in the country to stay for a couple of days that has many interesting places to visit.
There are probably many places in your state or province that you haven’t seen. Think of the atmosphere you would enjoy. Set a budget within your means and make plans for a vacation close to home. It’s much better than not vacationing at all because of the enormous gas prices.
